Privacy Policy

Last updated June 10, 2026

This policy explains what ApexLane (operated by ARQ Group) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the ApexLane platform at arqracing.com/apexlane.

1. What we collect

You give us: your email address (for sign-in), and the profile details you choose to add — display name, username, bio, location, role, racing series, car number, website, social handles, and avatar/cover images. We also store the posts, comments, opportunities, and applications you create.

Collected automatically: basic usage and device data (e.g., pages viewed, approximate location from IP, browser type) and a session cookie that keeps you signed in.

2. How we use it

To authenticate you via magic link; to create and display your public profile and content; to power the feed, discovery, notifications, and opportunity/application features; to keep the platform safe (moderation, abuse prevention); and to operate, maintain, and improve the service.

3. What's public

ApexLane is a professional network, so your profile and the content you post (profile details, posts, comments, opportunities) are public and visible to anyone on the platform. Your email address is not shown publicly. Don't post anything you wouldn't want to be seen publicly.

4. How we share it

We don't sell your personal information. We share data with service providers who run the platform on our behalf: Supabase (authentication, database, image storage), Vercel (hosting), and an email provider for sending magic links. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of ApexLane and its members.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies, primarily to keep you signed in. We don't use them for third-party advertising.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete content it's removed from public view; backups and logs may persist for a limited period. You can request deletion of your account and associated data (see “Your rights”).

7. Your rights

You can view and edit most of your information any time from your profile settings, and delete your own posts and comments. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these or to request account deletion, email us at privacy@arqracing.com.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures (including encrypted connections and row-level access controls) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to address issues promptly.

9. Children

ApexLane isn't intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.

10. Changes & contact

We may update this policy and will revise the “last updated” date above; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes. Questions or requests? Email privacy@arqracing.com.
